Nanshan Holdings Attends Key Meeting at Yulong Petrochemical in Shandong

On February 26, a special meeting to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the private enterprise symposium was held at Yulong Petrochemical in Shandong Province.

Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Shandong Province, presided over the meeting. Ge Huijun, Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Wang Yuyan, Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, were also in attendance. Representatives from 35 private enterprises across the province, including Nanshan Holdings, participated in the meeting. 

 

At the meeting, General Secretary Xi Jinping's key speech at the private enterprise symposium was conveyed and studied. Representatives from seven companies, including Yulong Petrochemical, shared their insights.

After carefully listening to the speeches, Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech fully highlights the central government's firm stance and determination to encourage and support the development of the private economy, providing fundamental guidance for our work moving forward. He encouraged private enterprises and entrepreneurs to stay committed to high-quality development, actively contribute to and integrate with major national strategies, proactively adapt to industrial upgrading trends, and prioritize technological innovation. He also emphasized the need to drive steady progress in green and low-carbon transformation, continuously strengthen core competitiveness, and strive to build top-tier enterprises with outstanding performance. Lin further called on businesses to uphold a strong sense of patriotism, focus wholeheartedly on growth, operate with integrity and in compliance with regulations, and promote shared prosperity through their success. He encouraged them to make even greater contributions to the modernization and prosperity of Shandong Province.

 

Before the meeting, Lin Wu conducted an on-site inspection of the Yulong Island Refining and Chemical Integration Project to assess its construction progress and receive a project briefing. He emphasized the importance of benchmarking against industry-leading standards, ensuring the project reaches full capacity and maintains stable operations, enhancing enterprise management, extending the industrial chain, and positioning the project as a model for the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry.
