On May 15,PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia achieved a significant milestone as hot commissioning of both the raw material mill ore feeding system and the digestion unit for its Phase III alumina project commenced simultaneously.This milestone signifies that the project has officially entered the trial production phase,heralding a new boost for the Company’s growth.

As the initial and core phase in the alumina production process,the raw material mill undertakes the critical task of finely grinding raw materials such as bauxite.The successful commencement of ore feeding signifies that the project's raw material supply system is fully operational and unobstructed,laying a solid foundation for subsequent production stages.Meanwhile,the hot commissioning of the digestion unit,involving water supply and steam circulation,is advancing smoothly and systematically.With the gradual injection of steam,the equipment warmed up smoothly,revealing the unit’s efficient and reliable production capabilities,which lay a strong foundation for the follow-up production processes.
